Job Summary: Great, interview and direct patients coming to the outpatient department. Records information required for registration on the computer. Performs clerical duties as assigned i.e. patient’s appointments, “scheduling or cancellation”. Maintaining logs, preparing statistics, ordering and stocking office supplies. Responsibilities: Accept / complete assignments throughout the different OPD appointment areas. To ensure connecting the patients to the right person who will be able to answer patients inquires (as per the center's policy). Respond to patients / companions’ inquiries if applicable. Coordinate with the physicians/technicians to get approval for overbooking of urgent cases. Log patient’s complaints/concerns to be handed to the OPD Manager for action. Contact patients and inform them about their appointment changes as necessary. Obtain patient data and record it into the computer as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, departmental and center staff to ensure that OPD and center goals are met. Communicate effectively with OPD Supervisor / Manager to help provide the highest quality service. Qualifications: University Degree or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a clerical position. Ability to operate computers. Must be fluent in Arabic and must have good understanding of oral and written English.
