We are looking for a Support Engineer with experience in the telecommunications industry who will be responsible for resolving technical issues for customers operating cloud-based telecommunications solutions. This is not a traditional IT Support or Helpdesk role, but rather a technical L2/L3 support position . The candidate will communicate directly with customers, analyze issues in Linux and Kubernetes environments, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them. The candidate does not need to be a Packet Core specialist , provided they have experience in the telecommunications environment and strong knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes . What will you do? Resolve incidents and technical issues reported by customers. Analyze logs and identify the root causes of problems. Troubleshoot Linux servers and Kubernetes environments. Collaborate with R&D and testing teams to resolve customer issues. Communicate directly with customers and participate in technical discussions. Participate in installations, upgrades, maintenance, and deployment of solutions. Occasionally travel to customer sites. Work morning or afternoon shifts when required. What is the project about? The project focuses on Telecommunications Cloud Infrastructure . It involves supporting cloud-based solutions used by mobile network operators. The technologies include, for example: 4G LTE Core 5G Core Cloud Native Network Functions (CNF) Virtual Network Functions (VNF) Kubernetes OpenShift Linux infrastructure This is not a product development role . The focus is on technical support, troubleshooting, and operation of the solution in customer environments. Must-have skills Experience in the telecommunications environment. Good understanding of how telecommunications products and solutions work. Strong knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies. Soft skills Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivation and independence. Excellent communication skills. Customer-oriented approach. Willingness to travel. Flexibility to work shifts according to project requirements. Nice-to-have skills Knowledge of Packet Core, EPC, or 5G Core. OpenShift. Docker. OpenStack. Wireshark. Cloud Native Network Functions (CNF). Virtual Network Functions (VNF).
