Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager About the Role Our client is seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. This is a senior individual contributor role supporting accounting operations and financial analysis without direct supervisory responsibilities. The position supports month-end close and day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements, while also contributing to financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an opportunity to join an established organization with a collaborative environment and exposure to senior leadership. The position reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity for continued professional growth. Primary Responsibilities Prepare customer invoices, monitor collections, and support working capital management. Review employee expense reports and support cash disbursement processes. Support month-end close, including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prepare internal and corporate financial reporting. Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and accounting controls. Partner with the CFO and department leaders on budgeting, financial analysis, and business decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 5–8 years of progressive accounting, finance, or combined finance and accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement reporting, and month-end close. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows. Experience with invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements. Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting. Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a manufacturing, technology, industrial, or other operational business environment. Experience with process improvement, reporting enhancements, or automation. Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, Expensify, Square, or similar systems. CPA, MBA, MS Accounting, or active pursuit of professional certification preferred.
