We are looking for a well-rounded Digital QA professional with strong hands-on experience in manual testing of digital products and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web and mobile applications, functional testing, end-to-end customer journeys, API validation, integration testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and release quality . This role is suited for a QA professional who is passionate about finding defects, identifying risks, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience rather than being primarily focused on test automation. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, UX teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Own and execute QA activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . Review business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs to identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential quality risks. Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution plans . Perform hands-on manual functional testing of digital applications. Perform : Functional testing Regression testing Smoke and sanity testing Integration testing System testing End-to-end testing Test web applications across different browsers, screen sizes, and devices. Test mobile applications across relevant iOS/Android devices and operating-system versions. Validate complete customer journeys and business workflows , ensuring that different systems work together seamlessly. Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Validate request/response payloads, status codes, error handling, authentication, and data consistency. Perform basic database validation using SQL where required. Validate integrations with third-party systems, payment platforms, CRM systems, APIs, and other downstream/upstream applications as applicable. Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps . Work closely with developers to reproduce defects, provide clear evidence, and support root-cause analysis. Perform defect verification and regression testing after fixes. Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support UAT, release validation, production verification, and post-release testing . Required Skills & Experience 8+ Experience in Software QA / Digital QA , depending on seniority. Strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum . Strong experience creating and executing detailed test scenarios and test cases. Experience with end-to-end and customer journey testing . Good experience with functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and negative testing. Experience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers and devices. Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and/or Android. Working knowledge of API testing , preferably using Postman or similar tools. Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of SQL/database validation . Experience working with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent .
