What You'll Do Technical Leadership Design and architect scalable frontend features and systems. Drive technical design discussions and make architectural decisions. Identify opportunities for refactoring and improving the maintainability of the codebase. Establish and promote frontend best practices, coding standards, and development workflows. Review designs and code to ensure quality, performance, and scalability. Product Development Build and deliver complex frontend features from design through production. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement solutions. Own feature delivery while balancing quality, performance, and timelines. Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term improvements. Mentoring & Team Development Mentor frontend engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance. Support engineers in their technical growth and career development. Provide regular feedback and participate in quarterly performance reviews. Help onboard new engineers and improve team development practices. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with backend teams to define APIs and integration patterns. Participate in technical discussions with customers for storefront-related implementations when required. Collaborate with support and customer success teams to resolve complex frontend issues. Who you are 5+ years of professional frontend development experience. Strong expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React. Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and application design. Strong understanding of unit testing and experience writing maintainable unit tests using modern testing frameworks. Experience leading technical initiatives and driving architectural improvements. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
