Job Purpose The HRIS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, accuracy, and effectiveness of the company’s HR information systems, with a primary focus on Paycom. This role supports HRIS configuration, reporting, employee data management, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance while serving as a resource for employees and leaders using the platform. In addition to HRIS responsibilities, the HRIS Administrator provides general HR and office administrative support and assists with employee culture and engagement initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, systems aptitude, and the ability to balance technical HRIS responsibilities with broader HR team needs. Key Responsibilities HRIS & Paycom Administration Serve as the primary administrator and internal owner of Paycom, responsible for day-to-day system administration, data integrity, workflows, permissions, reporting, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and coordination with Paycom support. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager questions related to Paycom functionality and system navigation. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Paycom support when additional assistance is required. Support implementation of system enhancements, process changes, and new Paycom functionality. Maintain HRIS documentation, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent system administration. HR Data & Reporting Maintain accurate and complete employee data within Paycom and other HR systems. Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support department and leadership needs. Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct discrepancies. Support HR leadership with workforce data, employee information, and reporting requests. Ensure appropriate handling and confidentiality of employee and organizational data. HR Administration Support HR-related administrative activities and coordination. Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team. Assist with employee documentation, records management, and other HR processes as needed. Partner with HR team members on departmental projects and operational priorities. Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR team member when necessary. Culture & Employee Engagement Support planning and coordination of employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events. Assist with internal communications related to HR programs, events, and employee initiatives. Partner with HR leadership to identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and the overall employee experience. Support company culture initiatives and help ensure consistent execution of engagement programs. Process Improvement & Compliance Identify opportunities to improve HRIS workflows, reporting, and administrative processes. Support the development and maintenance of HR procedures and documentation. Ensure employee information and HRIS processes are maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements. Partner with HR team members to improve efficiency, data quality, and the employee experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of Human Resources experience. Hands-on experience administering an HRIS, including maintaining workflows, reports, system configurations, and employee data; Paycom experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting employees and managers with HR and HRIS questions and troubleshooting. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and the ability to work effectively with HR data. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee information. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach to employee support. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee information. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HR data audits and process improvement initiatives. Previous experience supporting employee engagement, company events, or culture initiatives. Experience working in a growing or fast-paced organization.
