POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Analyst, Canadian Fund & Corporate to join the Finance team. This individual will conduct and review quantitative analysis of information, as it relates to company profitability, investment return etc. for Canadian Fund and Corporate. This position will also oversee the semi-annual corporate budget processes. The ideal candidate brings 2 to 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : ● Ensure that all business-related items are successfully and professionally communicated to the appropriate parties, either verbally or in writing. ● Drive the forecasting process with the Canada Fund team, compile all changes, and provide summaries as required ● Prepare internal and/or external financial forecasts and annual budgets ● Provide specific, actionable, and forward-looking commentary on changes in the monthly and quarterly financial forecasts ● Monitor and develop new performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances ● Track expenses versus budget, analyzing fluctuations and identifying shortfalls and cost savings opportunities ● Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities ● Collaborate with IT on identifying and implementing business systems necessary to meet reporting requirements ● Support the management team and department heads with in-depth analysis ● Manipulate and automate large amounts of data and inter-linked files in Excel for analysis and reporting. Advanced excel pivot tables, v- lookups and formula work are in daily work BUDGET / Latest Current Estimate (LCE) duties: ● Develop timelines for budget and LCE processes. ● Collect reports from every department and verify completeness of data. Compile all financial analyses for budgeting and LCE processes. Oversee two rounds of budget approval. ● Compile monthly analysis reporting year-to-date results against corporate expectations. ● Handle any ad hoc special requests. QUALIFICATIONS: ● Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Master's degree or CPA preferred. ● 2-3 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, ideally supporting business segments; candidates with experience in a similar analytical or quantitative role will also be considered. Food or confectionery industry experience is preferred. ● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint ● SAP experience or similar preferred ● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills ● Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment marked by constant change ● Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex financial data and information COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: ● Wage Range: $75k-$85k ● Win as One Bonus Target: 5% based on company and/or individual performance ● Paid Time Off ● 401k Matching ● ESOP ● Tuition Reimbursement ● Medical/Dental/Vision insurance ● Mental Health Support ● Wellness Program ● HSA/FSA ● STD/LTD ● Life Insurance ● LifeLock Identity Theft Protection REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to : Manager of FP&A, Fund and Corporate LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: This is a hybrid role. Travel to World’s Finest Chocolate’s Chicago headquarters is required on a quarterly basis for employees who live out of state and on a monthly basis for employees who live in state.
