You will work with HR Leaders, Security, global stakeholders, AWS business ops/finance, and business-aligned program teams. From Day 1, Business Intelligence Engineers are given ownership and autonomy to make data-driven decisions that drive significant impact on the customer experience and the business. This role requires working across many domains including HR, Security, Engineering, Compensation, and Finance with high visibility to senior leaders at AWS. Partner with builders, HR specialists, and business leaders to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions. Respond to questions with data-driven analysis. Build self-service tools that empower customers to make informed decisions quickly. Drive innovation with AI-powered self-service analytics. Evangelize and pilot AI/ML use cases leveraging QuickSuite to transform how we work. Build interactive dashboards and AI-powered agents that enable teams to answer their own questions. Explore automation frameworks, machine learning models, and agentic workflows to improve our data capabilities. Challenge the status quo and bring bold ideas that reshape our approach to workforce analytics. Deliver operational success. Support execution of key deliverables such as Monthly Business Reviews and specialized compensation administration. Build scalable solutions that move processes from manual to automated in support of growing scale and complexity. Move fast, iterate quickly, and take ownership of problems to drive them to resolution. Ensure data integrity. Develop and maintain reporting QuickSight dashboards that synthesize the needs of HR, security, recruiting, and business teams to deliver accurate, reliable data. Ensure data quality and audit compliance across workforce analytics and compensation programs. Build scalable infrastructure. Design and implement ETL pipelines, data models, and warehousing solutions. Write quality SQL and Python code to transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets that enable smart decision making. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or 1+ years of in the job offered or a related occupation experience 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
