We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team on an innovative and challenging project for a major American investment client. This position requires availability to work at the Campinas office 3x/week. Responsibilities Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS. Consume real-time data streams using AWS Kinesis. Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) using AWS DMS from DB2 and Aurora databases. Optimize and manage databases including OpenSearch, Amazon Aurora, IBM DB2, and Amazon Redshift. Design and implement data pipelines utilizing AWS S3 and Control-M for job scheduling. Monitor application performance and health using AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and Grafana. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to PII, KYC, and AML. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices. Requirements Advanced English (daily contact with people outside Brazil) Availability to work at our Campinas office 3x/week Proven experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of AWS services, including ECS, Kinesis, DMS, S3, Redshift, and OpenSearch. Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and data management. Familiarity with database technologies such as Amazon Aurora, IBM DB2, and OpenSearch. Ability to work with observability tools like Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana. Knowledge of serverless architecture using AWS Lambda and Vanguard FaaS. Understanding of regulatory frameworks related to PII, KYC, and AML. Nice to Have Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and automation. Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift. Knowledge of data analytics and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Honeycomb. Background in regulatory compliance and identity resolution systems.
