The Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a high-performing technology operations team. This is a hands-on role focused on monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of enterprise platforms and applications. You will play a key role in supporting observability capabilities across Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and cloud-native environments, ensuring critical services remain stable and highly available. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in technical support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), monitoring technologies, and incident management, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and observability platforms. Monitor application and infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements. Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and service health reporting. Support SRE practices including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, and reliability initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve complex issues. Assist with deployment, configuration, and optimisation of monitoring solutions. Participate in on-call support and major incident response activities. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Need 2-5 years' experience in Technical Support, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Operations, or a related role. Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace monitoring and performance management. Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) for logging and observability. Solid understanding of SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, reliability engineering, and incident management. Experience configuring monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across applications and infrastructure. Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience supporting production environments and critical business services. Desirable Skills Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised environments. Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages. Experience with PagerDuty and enterprise incident management platforms. Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud-native architectures. Dynatrace certifications or other observability-related certifications. Experience in customer-facing support environments.
