Position Overview We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on People Partner to own the day-to-day execution of Human Resources for our Brazil operations. HR strategy, policy frameworks, and organizational direction are set in partnership with our Asia-based leadership team; this role is responsible for adapting and implementing those frameworks locally, and for providing the on-the-ground regulatory, cultural, and market insight that shapes those decisions for Brazil. The right person combines strong hands-on HR operational expertise with the judgment to flag what needs adapting for the Brazilian context, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multicultural, rapidly scaling environment with close, regular collaboration with supervision based in Asia. Payroll and employee admissions/dismissals (admissões e demissões) are supported by external consultants; this role is responsible for coordinating closely with those consultants to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution. The role works closely with regional leadership, department heads, Finance, Admin, and external vendors to execute HR operations and deliver a strong employee experience across the organization. Advanced English communication is required for collaboration with international stakeholders and global teams. Must Have Strong hands-on experience personally executing HR operationsSolid understanding of Brazil labor law, HR compliance, and employee relationsDirect, personal experience executing:Employee lifecycle management (recruitment through offboarding)Attendance and leave administrationPayroll coordination with external payroll consultants, and related HR complianceCoordination with external consultants on employee admissions and dismissals (admissões e demissões)Performance management processesHR policies, SOPs, and internal governance — implementing and localizing frameworks set by leadershipTalent Acquisition and recruitment operationsHRIS and employee data management systemsOnboarding and offboarding processesEmployee relations and workplace issue handlingCompensation and benefits coordinationHR reporting and workforce documentationAbility to translate global/regional HR strategy into locally compliant, practical executionStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, including upward communication of local insights to Asia-based leadershipStrong problem-solving and conflict management capabilitiesAbility to work independently and drive execution end-to-end with minimal supervision5+ years of hands-on, operational HR experience (generalist or specialist), building or improving HR processes and workflowsProfessional English communication skills Nice to Have Experience in: iGaming, Technology, Internet, Startups, and Multinational environmentsExperience supporting 0–1 office or organizational setupExperience handling expatriate employees and cross-border HR coordinationFamiliarity with Brazil payroll vendors, labor processes, and HR outsourcing providersExperience adapting global HR frameworks and policies to local market requirementsExperience driving employee engagement and company culture initiatives on the groundExperience supporting employer branding and recruitment marketing activitiesKnowledge of HR analytics and workforce reporting Key Responsibilities Own and execute day-to-day HR operations for the Brazil officeImplement and localize HR policies, SOPs, and internal processes set in partnership with Asia-based leadership, ensuring full compliance with Brazil labor lawProvide local regulatory, cultural, and market insight to inform HR strategy and policy decisions made with AsiaExecute the full employee lifecycle including:RecruitmentOnboarding (coordinating admissions with external consultants)Probation managementEmployee movementPerformance reviewsOffboarding (coordinating dismissals with external consultants)Support Talent Acquisition activities and workforce planning in partnership with business leadersManage attendance, leave management, employee records, and HR documentationCoordinate with external consultants on payroll and on employee admissions and dismissals (admissões e demissões), ensuring accuracy and complianceCoordinate benefits administration and HR vendor management together with Finance and external providersHandle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution when necessaryExecute performance management and employee engagement initiatives locallyPartner with department heads on local workforce and manpower needs, feeding input back to Asia for organizational development decisionsMaintain and keep accurate Lark/HRIS systems and employee dataSupport local company culture and internal communication initiatives, aligned with global directionPrepare HR reports, operational updates, and workforce summaries for Asia-based leadershipSupport office setup, HR administration, and cross-functional operational coordination when requiredFlag and recommend opportunities to improve local HR efficiency and employee experience, for review with leadership
