SALARY: R204,000 – R264,000 ABOUT UNICORN, INC. What is a unicorn? A legendary creature, sure – and also the national animal of Scotland, which is where our story kicks off. At Unicorn Inc., we channel that same rare, slightly magical energy into helping people live more active lives, one ridiculously fun product at a time. We bring disruptive brands to the UK, Europe and South Africa, focusing on gear that doesn’t just perform, but brings joy to people’s lives. Our partners are agile, growth‑hungry and unafraid to shake up their categories - and so are we. From our home base in Scotland, with teams in Amsterdam and South Africa, we back this up with unrivalled operational capabilities, omni channel expertise and a willingness to step into the unknown. We like to think we’re the behind‑the‑scenes sidekicks helping our customers look good, move more and win a little bigger. We’re a small, dynamic crew that believes in hard work, creativity, growth and having fun while we’re at it. We are the exclusive UK and European partner for goodr, Versus Socks, Sprints and Body Glide, and the exclusive partner for Grayl in the UK and Ireland. ABOUT THE ROLE Are you a versatile marketer who's equally comfortable briefing a designer, building a paid campaign, and jumping on a call with a partner brand? As our Marketing Executive, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of Unicorn's marketing activity across South Africa and Europe — spanning social media, design, content, paid campaigns, and event support — helping bring our brands to life across every channel and touchpoint that matters. Based in our South African office and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll help execute our marketing strategy across organic and paid social, content creation, design and collateral production, community engagement, and influencer/affiliate activity. You'll play an important role in planning content, designing assets, building and scheduling campaigns, growing engagement, monitoring performance, and keeping our brand presence fresh, on-trend, and on-brand — both online and in print. You'll also work closely with colleagues in the UK office, supporting shared campaigns and events, and making sure our marketing presence feels consistent and connected across markets. This is a great role for someone early-to-mid in their career who wants broad, hands-on exposure to marketing — from social and paid media to design and events — while building real experience in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Marketing Manager in planning, content calendaring, and delivery of marketing and social campaigns across South Africa and Europe. Create, build, and schedule organic social content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn), including captions, visuals, and short-form video. Manage social channels day-to-day - monitoring comments, DMs, and mentions, and engaging with the community in a timely, on-brand way. Undertake design work for sales catalogues, sales tools, ad assets, and other collateral, using Adobe suite (Such as InDesign and Illustrator) and Illustrator to produce print-ready materials. Help build, launch, and monitor paid social campaigns (Meta and other platforms), including audience inputs, creative uploads, budgets, and pacing. Assist with affiliate and influencer marketing administration - creative assets, partner/creator trackers, outreach, and performance monitoring. Support the delivery of marketing events, trade shows, and partner activations, including preparing materials and representing the brand on the ground where needed. Pull together regular performance reports from platform dashboards, highlighting key results and insights. Research competitors, audiences, and market trends to inform content and campaign planning. Coordinate with the UK office and internal stakeholders to keep campaigns, calendars, and trackers organised across markets. WHAT YOU’LL BRING 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, social media, or marketing coordinator role, or strong relevant internship experience. May or may not have a degree...we don't care Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, with the confidence to build print-ready assets, not just Canva graphics. An eye for visual detail and brand consistency - you notice when a graphic is off-brand, a layout doesn't align, or a caption doesn't quite land. Genuine interest in social media platforms and how brands use them - you should already be a keen follower of great brand content, not just a personal user. Comfortable engaging with an online community in a brand's voice, replying to comments and DMs with the right tone. Some exposure to (or genuine curiosity about) paid social campaign set-up, budgets, and reporting. Interest in influencer and affiliate marketing, and how creator partnerships can drive brand awareness. A finger on the pulse of trends and platform culture, with the judgement to know what's on-brand to jump on. Bonus points if you've ever gone viral (even by accident) or grown a social account of your own. Willingness to get stuck in at events, activations, and trade shows when needed. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once. A curious, proactive attitude and comfort working in a fast-moving environment. Owning a unicorn or golden retriever is a big plus Comfortable collaborating with teammates in different locations, including the South African and UK offices. WHAT YOU’LL GET Pay check, duh To be part of a company that’s fun and growing quickly Employee discount HOW TO APPLY Now this is the fun part. Please send the following to kip@unicorn-inc.co: Your CV, of course Cover letter showing us the human behind the computer. Please don’t send a corporate-speak, AI generated letter. We want to learn more about you and why you think you’re a great fit for the role. And a drawing of a Unicorn. Yep, we’re serious. We don’t care if it’s a work of art or a scribble, but if you don’t include it, we don’t look at your CV.

Singapore alone has 5,920 of them. India has 3,543. The US has 2,443. If you're looking at a marketing role, geography matters: check WorkMundi's location filters to see which regions match your visa status and timezone. Don't apply everywhere; apply where you can actually work.
Four employers are posting at scale: SIMPLE RECRUIT (1,205 jobs), ROYAL ORG PTE. LTD. (795), SKILLMATCH RECRUITMENT (435), and jobgether (371). If you see a job from one of these names, you're looking at a company that hires marketing roles repeatedly. That's a signal of stability—and a chance to learn their hiring patterns across multiple openings.
In your interview, expect this question: 'Tell us about a time you measured the success of a campaign.' Marketing hiring managers ask this because they want proof you think in metrics, not hunches. Come with a real example—conversions, clicks, revenue, engagement rate, cost per acquisition—pick the metric that mattered most. Show you track what you do.
