Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing and delivering proposals, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers. The role involves closely collaborating with the product and operations teams to understand solution features, gather customer feedback, and refine value propositions. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales reports, and contribute to meeting revenue and growth targets for Fuelmetrics. Qualifications Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management to build and maintain a steady flow of opportunities. Experience in consultative selling, solution presentation, and negotiation to close deals effectively and ethically. Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, including client onboarding, account management, and regular follow-ups. Competence in using CRM and sales productivity tools, as well as basic data analysis to track performance and inform sales strategy. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate in a fast-paced start-up environment. Previous experience in B2B sales, technology or SaaS solutions, or the energy industry in Africa is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
