Parts Retail & B2B Supervisor

Company Description Electric Sales & Service Ltd, the leading air-conditioning, elevator, appliance & tools company in Barbados, is seeking suitable applicants for the position of Parts Retail & B2B Supervisor. Role Description This new position supports our strategy to expand retail sales of parts and products while developing and strengthening business-to-business (B2B) relationships. The ideal candidate for this position will supervise the retail operation of our parts department and manage the relationships with business-to-business sales. Qualifications Overseeing the ordering, stocking, and selling of parts. Ensure inventory levels meet customer demand without excessive surplus. Identify and develop new B2B accounts and establish relationships with contractors, technicians, businesses and other commercial customers. Enhance the customer experience across the parts department, Internal, retail and B2B. Monitoring time taken for customer to obtain desired item, satisfaction of customer, additional parts desired by customer. Train and supervise the Parts Department staff, assigning tasks and evaluating performance to ensure high levels of customer service and efficiency. Develop and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules. Handle enquiries, complaints, and warranty issues related to parts availability and pricing Coordinate with the Service Departments to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of parts required for repairs and maintenance. Prepare reports on Parts Department performance, analyzing sales, inventory levels, and profitability. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Proven track record of excellent strategic planning, organizing and time-management skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks & Microsoft Office programs. BSc. Degree or Associate Degree in Business Management or related field. At least three (3) years’ solid experience in procurement & inventory management. Previous experience as a people manager would be an asset.
