The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle for approximately 500 employees. This position serves as the primary administrator for HR processes including pre-employment activities, onboarding, employee data management, promotions, transfers, status changes, reporting, and program eligibility tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and experienced working within HRIS platforms such as Workday and UKG. This role is instrumental in ensuring accurate employee records, seamless onboarding experiences, compliance with company policies, and efficient HR operations. Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Administration Coordinate all employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and organizational updates. Process and maintain employee records within Workday and UKG, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Prepare and process employment documentation, offer letters, status changes, and employee communications. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR processes and policies. Pre-Employment & Onboarding Manage pre-employment activities including background checks, employment verifications, drug screenings, and other onboarding requirements. Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and ensure timely completion of required documentation. Facilitate orientation programs and ensure new employees have access to required systems, tools, and resources. Track onboarding metrics and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience. HRIS & Reporting Maintain employee data in Workday and UKG, ensuring compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. Generate and distribute routine and ad hoc reports related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, demographics, and workforce metrics. Assist with data audits, system updates, testing, and process improvements. Support HR leadership with workforce analytics and reporting requests. Benefits & Program Eligibility Tracking Track employee eligibility for benefits, leave programs, wellness initiatives, and other company-sponsored programs. Monitor key milestones such as benefits eligibility dates, tenure anniversaries, and probationary periods. Coordinate with benefits and payroll teams to ensure accurate employee information is maintained. Compliance & Documentation Maintain personnel records in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. Support I-9 administration, E-Verify processing, and other employment compliance activities. Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information. HR Operations Support Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and increase operational efficiency. Assist with special projects, policy updates, employee communications, and organizational initiatives. Support HR leadership in delivering a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of Human Resources, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or HR Operations experience. Experience supporting employee lifecycle administration for a multi-state or mid-sized organization preferred. Hands-on experience with Workday, UKG, or similar HRIS platforms. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting, and data management. Knowledge of HR compliance requirements, onboarding processes, and employee records management. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills.
