We are Hiring: Snowflake Architect Location: NYC, NY (⚠️ 3 Days Onsite is a MUST) Duration: 12 Months About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect to lead our Snowflake and Postgres distributed database platforms. You will drive modernization, automation, and performance optimization—architecting a "gold" data source to power advanced analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI agent workflows in a hybrid cloud ecosystem. What You’ll Do: Architect and manage large-scale Snowflake & Postgres databases across hybrid clouds (AWS/Azure). Build automation frameworks (Python/Ansible) for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring. Design schemas and data pipelines that seamlessly integrate with BI, Analytics, and AI/ML capabilities. Establish strict data governance, quality standards, and disaster recovery strategies. Mentor engineers and drive the adoption of next-gen data platforms (knowledge graphs, data fabrics). REQUIRED KEY SKILLS: Databases: Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake & PostgreSQL (administration, tuning, design patterns). AI/ML Integration: Experience with Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark, Snowflake ML, and designing solutions for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) & Vector Search. Cloud: Strong background in AWS and Azure hybrid-cloud data architectures. Automation: Strong scripting skills using Python, Ansible, etc. Ecosystem: Experience with Databricks, Spark, Talend, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Fabric. Experience: 10+ years in Data Architecture/Engineering, handling both structured and unstructured data at an enterprise scale. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s in CS/Engineering preferred). Proven track record of delivering large-scale data warehouse modeling in a regulated, Agile SDLC environment.
