Job Summary: The Sage X3 Developer & Configuration Specialist will support the development, customization, and ongoing enhancement of our Sage ERP environment (e.g. Sage X3). This role is ideal for a technically strong, hands-on contributor who can work independently on development and system support activities. This individual will play a key role in supporting system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to the evolution of our ERP environment. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and customize Sage ERP functionality to support business requirements using SQL, C#, .NET, and Sage-specific tools. Support integrations between Sage ERP and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, banking, and other business applications). Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues, providing technical support to internal stakeholders and end-users. Participate in system upgrades, patches, and data migrations to maintain performance and stability. Support configuration management and change control processes, including documentation, testing, and deployment activities. Maintain version control practices (e.g., Git), including basic branching and release support. Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide recommendations to enhance functionality and efficiency. Create and maintain technical documentation related to system configurations, integrations, and development work. Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail, particularly with financial and operational data. Familiarity with ERP systems, business processes, and system integration concepts. Required Experience: -Strong Sage X3 Development exp -3+ years of experience in ERP systems, application development, or related roles. -At least 1 year hands-on experience working with Sage ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, 300, or Intacct), including exposure to core modules such as GL, AP/AR,Inventory. -Strong proficiency in SQL and at least 1 programming language (e.g., C#, .NET). Experience with legacy technologies (e.g., VB6/ VB.NET ). Experience with: APIs and system integrations. Version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
