About the Opportunity The Power BI Developer / BI Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards that transform complex cybersecurity, operational, and risk data into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making. This role plays a key part in establishing trusted reporting standards, improving KPI visibility, and providing leadership teams with accurate and timely information. The position combines advanced Power BI development, data modeling, reporting governance, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable business intelligence solutions. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards • Create executive-facing cybersecurity, operational, and risk reports • Develop scalable data models, semantic models, and reporting frameworks • Support the standardization and governance of KPIs and business metrics • Optimize Power BI performance, usability, and governance • Implement role-based access controls and reporting security • Translate complex datasets into clear and trustworthy visualizations for decision-makers • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of executive-facing metrics • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and refine reporting solutions • Iterate on dashboards and analytics solutions based on stakeholder feedback Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and enterprise reporting • Proficiency with Power BI Enterprise Administration, data modeling, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, and executive reporting • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, trustworthy visual insights • Experience designing scalable semantic models and enterprise reporting frameworks • Strong attention to data accuracy and integrity, particularly for executive-facing metrics • Ability to work efficiently and iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Experience mentoring developers on Power BI, data modeling, and reporting best practices Pay Range and Compensation Package • Hourly pay range of $55 to $75 USD Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
