Working directly with founders, you'll solve high-stakes problems where "mostly right" is a failure, impacting real-world patient outcomes. Location: San Francisco, USA Why this role is remarkable: - Work on "Electra," a production-grade AI platform already generating seven-figure ARR and scaling rapidly toward eight figures by year-end. - Directly impact the American healthcare system by collapsing the weeks-long prior authorization bottleneck into hours using sophisticated LLM-powered workflows. - Collaborate closely with founders Hermine Tranie (CEO) and Alexandru Andrei (CTO) in a high-ownership, onsite culture that values deep technical curiosity. What you will do: - Scope and architect complex AI solutions, building RAG pipelines and multi-agent workflows that navigate unstructured clinical medical records with high precision. - Own the full-stack lifecycle of features, from backend Python/FastAPI services to frontend React/Next.js interfaces and infrastructure deployment via AWS and Terraform. - Partner with clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure AI outputs meet rigorous regulatory and clinical standards, maintaining a relentless focus on auditability. The ideal candidate: - Strong Python backend engineering background with proven experience building LLM-powered systems like structured extraction, RAG, or multi-agent workflows. - Full-stack capability with React, Next.js, or TypeScript, coupled with a deep desire to understand technical systems "all the way down." - Bias toward shipping in ambiguous environments and a "production ownership" mindset involving monitoring, reliability tuning, and performance optimization.
