Yes Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Layer Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data transformation workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize data transformation workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data structuring, and schema management. Work with ESRI geospatial data layers, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-based geospatial services. Utilize databases including PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, and NoSQL. Manage cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud Storage. Support Kubernetes-hosted geospatial applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in data governance. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing data governance frameworks. Experience implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions.
