An Exciting Career Opportunity Exists for an Area Sales Executive within the Aesculap Division based in Harare, Zimbabwe This is a full-time, permanent position based in Harare, Zimbabwe, reporting to the Regional Sales & Chief Operating Officer (Zim). The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our range of B. Braun Power Systems, MIS and Sterile technology and related products to healthcare providers. This role requires as strong understanding of medical devices and therapies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in the medical field. Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed revenue targets across the portfolio. Taking ownership of the territory to drive sales and growth. Maintain market and competitor analysis and providing regular feedback. Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Aesculap Products and solutions to surgical professionals, hospitals, and clinics. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, nursing staff, and purchasing departments. Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within Zimbabwe Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies related to Aesculap related products. Develop an area plan based on the division's strategy - ensuring strategic customers and products are included. Pre-call planning should be completed prior to each call and must include call objectives, feedback required from previous call, etc. Report on all relevant market information: changes in customer requirements, competitor activities, complaints, etc. Does an in-depth analysis of customers and products sold, to ascertain potential, and ensure proper product mix is sold. HUSI, to be maintained monthly. Ensure samples and marketing material are always in a pristine and presentable condition. Identify customer training needs and plan training sessions accordingly. Ensure product and concept knowledge, is always up to date. Ensure knowledge of clinical data is always up to date - incorporate publications and articles during daily sales calls. Attend industry symposiums, congresses, and conferences (this includes functions scheduled during evenings and over weekends). Tests based on product and concept knowledge will be written a minimum of twice per year and pass rate of 80% must be met. Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (scrub experience will be advantageous) • Proven experience of a minimum of 3 to 4 years in medical sales • Sales experience in selling in private and state sector • Strong knowledge of the medical field and healthcare landscape in Zimbabwe • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large geographical region • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region Skills and Competencies: • Sales and negotiation expertise with a consultative approach • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance • Analytical skills to assess market trends and develop targeted strategies • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide solutions and value to healthcare professionals • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-matrix company in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Digital literacy (Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software e.g., Salesforce) Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Statement As a global company and an equal opportunity employer, B.
