About the Opportunity The Data Scientist - Finance AI & Analytics supports the Business Management function by developing and scaling analytical models that simulate complex business scenarios and reduce uncertainty around future outcomes. This role applies advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to enterprise-level challenges, translating business questions into analytical solutions that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities • Develop statistical and machine learning models to quantify and reduce uncertainty across complex business scenarios. • Build analytical solutions that support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making. • Write clear, maintainable, and well-structured code to support collaboration, testing, and model deployment. • Provide technical guidance on data science methodologies, analytical approaches, and technology selection. • Translate complex business problems into well-defined analytical questions and actionable solutions. • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Mentor junior team members on data science methodologies, coding standards, and best practices. • Monitor emerging data science and AI trends and recommend innovative approaches that can enhance business value. Requirements • PhD with 1–3 years of related experience, Master’s degree with 3–6 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of experience, depending on level. • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and quantitative analysis. • At least 4 years of professional Python programming experience. • Proficiency in SQL or comparable data querying languages. • Experience with version control systems such as Git. • Familiarity with cloud-based data science and analytics platforms, including AWS, Azure, Databricks, Spark, or PySpark. • Ability to translate business challenges into analytical questions and develop practical data-driven solutions. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, mathematics, statistics, or computer science. • Experience with Monte Carlo simulations, time-series analysis, probabilistic modeling, or related techniques. • Demonstrated experience deploying analytical or machine learning models into production environments. • Experience presenting technical findings and recommendations to executive audiences. • Background working with finance, financial planning, forecasting, or business management data. Pay Range and Compensation Package • Level 3: $113,900–$170,900 annually. • Level 4: $142,200–$213,200 annually. • Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentive compensation.
