Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ranchi. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts and drawings for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role involves preparing construction drawings, reviewing site progress, resolving design issues, and updating documentation as needed. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and support project management activities such as scheduling and basic cost estimation. Qualifications Ability to plan and organize interiors effectively, including strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design. Understanding of Architecture principles and their application to interior projects. Proficiency in preparing and reading Construction Drawings for implementation on site. Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers. Knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software. Strong visual and aesthetic sense, with attention to detail and material finishes. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and project teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Previous experience in interior design or related roles; local site coordination experience in Ranchi or similar markets is an advantage. Only candidates from Ranchi are eligible to apply.
