Our client is a growing aviation software company that works with major U.S. airports and airlines, the U.S. Air Force and Navy, and technology partners including Cisco. They’re hiring their first dedicated Marketing Lead. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own the marketing function while still doing the work. You’ll report directly to the CEO and be responsible for turning an existing marketing strategy into execution. THE OPPORTUNITY Own marketing strategy and execution from start to finish Create sales and partner materials, including presentations, one-pagers, case studies, use cases, and sales collateral Develop customer stories and content that clearly communicates the value of the technology Own product positioning and messaging Manage the website, LinkedIn, blog, email campaigns, and other marketing content Build and execute demand generation programs that support the sales pipeline Run targeted LinkedIn and account-based marketing campaigns Identify industry events, associations, and speaking opportunities Develop thought leadership content for the CEO and company Coordinate creative resources, sales, outside marketing advisors, and other contributors WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of B2B marketing experience Excellent writing and storytelling skills Hands-on product marketing experience, including positioning and messaging Demand generation experience with an understanding of pipeline and funnel metrics Experience marketing to enterprise customers with longer, more complex sales cycles Comfortable creating sales and marketing materials yourself Comfortable with Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or similar design tools Comfortable using modern marketing technology and AI tools Organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Startup or smaller-company experience where you’ve operated without a large support team Someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and gets things done NICE TO HAVE Aviation or travel technology experience Transportation, logistics, engineering, consulting, or other technical industry experience LinkedIn advertising and account-based marketing experience Experience working with channel partners or resellers Video or creative production experience COMPENSATION & LOCATION $80K to $100K base salary, which may be negotiable Full-time position reporting directly to the CEO Southeast U.S. strongly preferred Remote candidates will be considered for the right person WHY CONSIDER IT This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated marketing hire at an aviation software company with major customers, partners, and market validation.
