Senior DevOps Engineer – AI / Edge Infrastructure We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the build, test, and deployment pipeline for a distributed computer vision platform running across customer manufacturing environments. This is a full-time, remote U.S. position with a strong focus on Linux infrastructure, deployment automation, CI/CD, and applying LLMs to production engineering workflows. What You’ll Be Doing Own the end-to-end release pipeline, including builds, artifact promotion, deployment, and rollback. Design and maintain Ansible-driven automation across distributed Linux edge environments. Manage deployment and update tooling across Python and Golang environments. Build LLM-powered testing and engineering automation , including test generation, failure analysis, flake triage, regression analysis, and release-note generation. Harden CI/CD processes for offline and bandwidth-constrained environments. Manage Docker environments, including NVIDIA container runtimes and GPU infrastructure. Improve deployment observability, version tracking, and post-deployment health validation. Mentor engineers on release engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and reproducible build practices. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Release Engineering experience supporting production Linux systems. Expert-level Ansible experience and working knowledge of Terraform. Strong Docker experience, including container lifecycle management, image hardening, registries, and NVIDIA container runtime. Deep Linux administration experience including systemd, networking, kernel/drivers, NVIDIA/DKMS, APT, and package management . Strong Python experience focused on automation, tooling, packaging, wheels, pip, and CI integration. Strong experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Experience designing automated testing infrastructure across unit, integration, hardware-in-the-loop, and end-to-end testing. Hands-on experience incorporating LLMs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or local models into engineering workflows . Strong technical communication, documentation, and systems-thinking skills. Nice to Have Bazel or other monorepo build systems Edge or embedded deployments Tailscale, WireGuard, or Zero Trust networking gRPC / protobuf Vault, PKI, or enterprise secrets management CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other compliance-driven environments Location: Remote – U.S. This is a great opportunity for a senior DevOps engineer who enjoys owning infrastructure end-to-end and wants to work at the intersection of AI, computer vision, edge computing, and manufacturing technology .
