Position Summary The Director of Data & Business Intelligence is responsible for building, leading, and scaling the company’s data, reporting, and analytics capabilities to support investment performance, mortgage loan servicing, and cross organizational performance and financial reporting. This role partners with executive leadership and portfolio management finance, servicing, and technology teams. The Director will leverage advanced SQL, Excel, coding, and AI-enabled tools to modernize reporting, improve data integrity, and enhance analysis of organizational performance and financial data. Key Responsibilities Data Strategy & Leadership Own the enterprise data and business intelligence strategy across the organization. Lead and develop analytics and BI talent directly or through cross-functional influence Business Intelligence & Executive Reporting Deliver automated dashboards and reporting for executives, investment committee, and asset management Own enterprise KPIs and performance measurement frameworks Underwriting, Loan & Servicing Analytics Design analytics supporting credit underwriting, loan acquisition, pricing, and risk evaluation Build reporting for loan performance, delinquency, loss severity, recoveries, and servicing outcomes Partner with asset management and servicing teams to monitor portfolio risk and value creation AI-Enabled Analytics & Automation Apply AI tools to accelerate reporting, enhance forecasting, detect anomalies, and generate narrative insights Automate recurring analyses and investor reporting workflows using AI-assisted solutions Evaluate and implement emerging analytics technologies to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability Technical Development Write advanced SQL for complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis Build advanced Excel models using Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, and complex financial formulas Develop or oversee coded solutions for modeling, automation, and analytics Partner with IT on data architecture, warehousing, and BI platforms
