We build in-house software used by retail and professional traders to access the capital markets. Our products manage real transactional volume for thousands of active traders, and quality is not optional. The Role We are looking for a meticulous, domain-focused Quality Assurance Engineer to drive end-to-end quality across our cross-platform trading ecosystem by supporting our internal QA team. While your primary focus will be our native mobile apps (iOS & Android), you will also validate our web-based trading terminals and administrative portals. You will test complex financial workflows, real-time risk calculation engines, and cross-platform synchronization—ensuring a seamless experience whether a trader executes an order on desktop or monitors position risk on the go. What You Will Work On Our product suite includes: Our mobile iOS and Android trading app Our core web-based trading execution platform Our trading performance analytics dashboard Our member portal and customer hub All whitelabeled versions of the above for significant partners Our risk management and market surveillance middle-layer Key Responsibilities Mobile-First Quality Assurance (Primary): Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing on iOS and Android devices, focusing on touch responsiveness, real-time streaming charts, and push notifications. Web & Cross-Platform Validation: Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on our web-based risk trading dashboard, ensuring data parity and state synchronization between web and mobile sessions. Risk & Trading Domain Testing: Validate critical financial logic, including order execution types, margin calls, position exposure calculations, real-time P&L updates, and risk limit alerts. Network & Edge-Case Inspection: Capture and inspect API requests/responses, WebSockets, and payload data across both web and mobile environments using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, and Chrome DevTools. Defect Management: Author detailed, easy-to-reproduce bug reports in Jira with clear steps, network logs, OS/browser details, and video/screenshot recordings. Agile Collaboration: Partner with product managers, financial analysts, and developers during sprint planning to assess risk and write test cases before code is written. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of manual QA experience with a strong focus on native mobile apps , plus proven experience testing web applications. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of fintech, trading, or risk management concepts (e.g., market orders, limit orders, leverage, real-time data feeds). Inspection Tools: Proficiency with web and mobile debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman, Charles Proxy/Fiddler, Xcode, Android Logcat). Cross-Platform Parity: Experience verifying multi-platform user journeys (e.g., starting an action on web and receiving/completing it on mobile). Testing Core: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, boundary value analysis, equity/derivatives lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum processes. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Qase or any structured test case management tool Exposure to CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions or similar) Experience testing real-time or data-driven interfaces such as dashboards, streaming feeds, or financial platforms Mobile testing experience (Appium or similar) Familiarity with React or TypeScript frontends Why Join ArrowFin?
