Position: Healthcare BI Analyst (Pharmacy Analytics) Openings: 1 Location: Fully Remote (non-prohibited states), local to KY preferred Salary: $80,000-$123,000 Shift: 8-5 EST Start: ASAP Interview process: 2 rounds, virtual Candidates MUST sit in one of the following states: Alabama Arkansas Florida Georgia Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Michigan Mississippi Missouri Montana Nebraska New Hampshire New Mexico North Carolina Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah West Virginia Must Haves: Bachelor's degree Must have experience supporting a clinical service line within a hospital (pharmacy HIGHLY preferred) 4+ years of healthcare analytics, Epic Reporting, BI analysis, or business analyst experience Healthcare industry experience required (pharmacy specifically is highly preferred) Experience working with Epic, specifically navigating and leveraging Epic Clarity and Caboodle Strong ability to identify, locate, and interpret data sources within healthcare systems Experience navigating dashboards, reports, and visualizations Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical requirements/BRDs Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to provide business recommendations and insights rather than simply developing reports Advanced Excel skills Plusses: Pharmacy-specific service line experience is HIGHLY preferred Experience supporting retail pharmacy operations Familiarity with 340B programs Experience working directly with clinicians, especially pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, Chief Pharmacy Officers, or pharmacy leadership QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, SQL query experience Experience supporting quality, strategy, operational, or clinical reporting initiatives Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Healthcare BI Analyst (with a focus on Pharmacy Analytics) to support the Pharmacy service line of one of our hospital clients. This individual will serve as a strategic analytics partner to pharmacy leadership, helping translate business challenges into actionable insights and data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will function as an internal consultant who can understand business requirements, identify the appropriate data sources, collaborate with IT and development teams, and ultimately provide recommendations that impact business operations and patient outcomes. Partner with pharmacy and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and analytical needs Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements Navigate Epic Clarity and Caboodle to identify appropriate data sources Collaborate with IT and BI development teams to validate data and support report development Assist with dashboard enhancements, report creation, and visualization updates within QlikSense and other BI tools Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities prior to production releases Analyze trends and provide strategic recommendations to pharmacy leadership Serve as a trusted advisor by translating complex data into meaningful business insights Example initiatives may include: Antimicrobial Stewardship Program analytics Medication reconciliation reporting Formulary management initiatives Retail pharmacy operations reporting Clinical and financial performance analysis Evaluating patient outcomes and business cases for new healthcare technologies and programs The ideal candidate combines strong healthcare analytical experience with exceptional communication and consulting skills, allowing them to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while driving meaningful operational improvements.
