As the business continues to grow, they are investing in their systems and processes and are now looking to appoint a Finance Systems Manager to play a key role within their Finance Function About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major business transformation programme and make a significant impact on how finance and commercial systems support the organisation. The immediate focus will be the implementation and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA , providing substantial involvement across business process design, system configuration, data migration, testing, and user adoption. Role: Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with Finance, Commercial, IT, and external delivery partners, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Responsibilities will include: Lead finance and commercial system workstreams throughout the SAP S/4HANA implementation lifecycle Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into effective system solutions Manage the extraction, cleansing, migration, validation, and reconciliation of master and transactional data Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), issue management, user training, and post-go-live support activities Take ownership of the ongoing administration, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP finance and commercial systems Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through system-driven solutions Ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy across key business processes Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and management information to support decision-making Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, IT, and third-party partners to ensure systems continue to meet organisational needs and strategic objectives Support future system enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives across the wider technology landscape Requirements: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 2-5 years PQE experience Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA , including implementation, configuration, administration, or ongoing support Proven experience delivering ERP implementation, upgrade, or integration projects Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and management reporting Strong data management skills, including extraction, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and validation Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, with experience developing meaningful business insights Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
