We’re partnered with a leading quantitative trading firm continuing to invest heavily in its infrastructure and platform engineering organization supporting real-time production systems. This team is responsible for building and evolving the core infrastructure that powers trading across global markets, with a strong focus on scalability, automation, observability, and operational reliability. Engineers work closely with development and trading teams to ensure systems are performant, resilient, and efficient in highly demanding production environments. What you’ll do: • Design and improve infrastructure supporting low-latency production systems • Build internal tooling and platforms for deployment, provisioning, and operational workflows • Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across critical infrastructure • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes • Partner closely with engineering teams to improve production reliability and scalability • Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management across Linux environments Looking for: • Strong Python experience focused on automation and infrastructure tooling • Deep understanding of Linux systems and production infrastructure • Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized platforms • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and alerting ecosystems • Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management frameworks • Strong troubleshooting ability and operational mindset within high-availability environments • Ability to work cross-functionally and take ownership of infrastructure initiatives

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
