Full Description Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our growing IT infrastructure team. This is a fully remote, entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 0-2 years of experience who are eager to build a career in networking. You will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network systems, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across our distributed workforce. Key Responsibilities Assist in configuring, deploying, and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, and packet loss using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or similar. Support the implementation of network security measures, including VLAN segmentation, access control lists (ACLs), and VPN configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure aligns with organizational needs and growth. Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents in a timely manner. Assist in the evaluation and deployment of new networking technologies and tools. Maintain inventory of network hardware and software licenses. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
