The System Administrator II provides hands-on technical support for Cleveland Clinic's community and outpatient pharmacy locations across Northeast Ohio. This caregiver manages, maintains, and troubleshoots pharmacy-related hardware, peripherals, applications, and technical systems, including light server and database support. The role combines remote and onsite troubleshooting and may require travel to pharmacy locations to resolve issues and provide technical support. The caregiver collaborates with pharmacy leadership and team members to ensure timely issue resolution, consistent site coverage, and reliable technology operations. This position also participates in an on-call rotation approximately one week out of every eleven weeks. A caregiver in this position will work a Monday through Friday day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm in a salaried, hybrid role. Remote work flexibility is available, with the main onsite location at the MM Building on Main Campus and required travel to Cleveland Clinic pharmacy locations throughout Ohio as needed. Caregivers participate in an on-call rotation one week out of every 11 weeks, typically Wednesday to Wednesday, with no routine weekend or holiday on-call expectations. Local travel is required, and a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary. Mileage reimbursement is provided for required travel. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Ensure workstations and peripherals are maintained at the highest level of availability and reliability. Handle LAN administration, installations, email administration, consulting services and problem resolution. Assist caregivers and management in making Information Systems investments and decisions. Consult on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity. Troubleshoot software, hardware, network protocols, workstation and departmental server-related problems. Provide second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software and operating systems. Act as the primary contact for ongoing support requirements including all hardware components. Coordinate workstation purchase decisions based on enterprise standards. Recommend, design, build and support PC workstations. Build and maintain detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High school diploma/GED Two years of experience in information systems Experience supporting mid-size workstations and server environments Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid-size (100-700 node) networks Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Has prior field service support, technical support, or system administrator experience. Has at least 2 years of information systems experience. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. In some locations, ability to move up to 50 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary: $57,510.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $87,697.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
