The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dynatrace, Splunk or OpenSearch/ELK, distributed tracing, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices. Required Skills Dynatrace Administration & Monitoring Splunk OR OpenSearch/Elasticsearch (ELK) Monitoring & Observability Concepts Distributed Tracing & APM Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure) CI/CD & DevOps Practices Kubernetes / Containers Responsibilities Manage and optimize the Dynatrace platform, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, alerting, anomaly detection, management zones, and dashboards. Implement and support observability solutions using Dynatrace, OpenSearch/ELK, and Splunk for application, infrastructure, and log monitoring. Perform incident analysis and troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), tune alerts, and resolve monitoring gaps to improve system reliability. Build dashboards, reports, and telemetry pipelines to provide operational visibility and performance insights across cloud and on-premises environments. Automate monitoring and integrate observability tools with CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and OpenTelemetry frameworks. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
