About the Role: We're seeking a Telecommunications Engineer III to support broadband deployments in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) and Multi-Tenant Units (MTUs). This role combines field engineering, network design, site surveys, contractor oversight, and customer-facing interaction to deliver high-speed internet services utilizing existing building infrastructure. Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys and assess MDU/MTU properties for broadband deployment Design in-building network solutions using coax, Ethernet, and fiber infrastructure Develop cable routing plans, capacity calculations, and project cost estimates Present designs to property owners and secure approvals Oversee contractors and perform quality inspections during construction Manage broadband deployment projects from planning through completion Create as-built documentation and provide technical support to engineering and sales teams Required Qualifications: Hands-on experience with in-building broadband network design and installation Strong experience with coaxial, Cat6/Cat6A Ethernet, and/or fiber optic cabling Knowledge of CATV infrastructure, including terminals and pedestals Experience conducting site surveys and managing telecommunications or broadband projects Ability to test, troubleshoot, and validate coax and Ethernet networks Strong communication skills with experience working directly with customers, property managers, or facility teams Must have a vehicle for transporting tools and equipment Comfortable working from ladders and performing installations in residential and commercial buildings Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience Experience with Google Workspace and mobile workforce applications Rooftop installation or inspection experience Understanding of media limitations across coax, Ethernet, and fiber networks Experience managing contractors and stakeholder relationships
