Insight Global is looking for an experienced Network Engineer within Network Operations. As part of the Network Operations Team, you will be a key member responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting enterprise network services that enable business growth and exceptional customer experiences. A DAY IN THE LIFE •Provision and support network services to maintain a balance of capacity, performance, and reliability •Proactively drive lifecycle management initiatives to keep infrastructure platforms current and vendor supported •Define, develop, and maintain documentation that supports operational excellence, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting •Support network expansion projects for new company locations, both domestically and internationally •Assist with network design, implementation, and optimization efforts across routing, switching, and wireless platforms •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and technology deployments •Support operational response efforts for major incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis •Participate in change management processes and peer reviews to ensure service stability •Develop and maintain automation workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency •Leverage monitoring and observability platforms to proactively identify opportunities for improvement •Deliver solutions that improve customer and end-user experiences through stable, high-performing network services THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF You have a passion for building reliable, scalable, and user-focused network experiences. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE MUST HAVE : •5+ years of Network Operations experience supporting enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies •Deep expertise with the Cisco Meraki platform, including switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, and cloud-managed network operations •Strong understanding of network architecture, routing fundamentals, traffic flows, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting methodologies •Experience supporting connectivity between enterprise networks and public cloud environments such as Azure and AWS •Experience with network lifecycle management, upgrades, maintenance windows, and operational excellence initiatives •Strong documentation, change management, and incident response experience •Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as Python, PowerShell, APIs, or similar tools used to improve operational efficiency •Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, and security domains •Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer and end-user experiences •Self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and staying current with emerging technologies •CCNA Certification Required NICE TO HAVE: •Experience with Grafana, including dashboard development, alerting, visualization, and operational monitoring. •Experience with network observability, digital experience monitoring, and performance monitoring platforms •Experience integrating monitoring and observability platforms, APIs and telemetry data sources to create actionable operational insights and proactive alerting capabilities •Meraki API experience •Infrastructure as Code experience •Azure and/or AWS Certifications •Webex Administration experience •Experience supporting global or multi-site enterprise environments

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
