Job Description: Ocuco is hiring a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Lab Development team. You will work across two platforms: Innovations, our world-renowned Lab Management System, and Lablink, our online ordering portal, supporting their development, deployment and ongoing operation. The role will be responsible for the infrastructure and DevOps processes supporting both platforms, including CI/CD pipelines, environment provisioning, patching, monitoring and access controls. You will help ensure that our environments remain stable, secure and auditable, while supporting the technical controls required for Ocuco's security and compliance obligations. You will work closely with Development, InfoSec and IT teams, acting as a bridge between application development and the infrastructure on which our products are deployed and operated. No specific programming language is required for this role. The role is based in Ocuco's Dublin headquarters and largest engineering centre and offers an opportunity to join a growing Irish software company at an important stage in the continued development and cloud migration of our platforms. This is a hybrid role, based in our Dublin HQ three days per week. The successful candidate must have: A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years' experience in a DevOps, infrastructure or similar technical operations role Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools Strong Windows Server and Linux administration skills Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS/SSL, firewalls and VPNs Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation and least-privilege access controls Experience managing relational databases from an operational perspective, including backups, monitoring and failover; SQL Server experience is preferred Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Key Vault and Entra ID (Azure AD) Experience monitoring and troubleshooting application and infrastructure environments Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Development, InfoSec and IT teams Fluency in written and spoken English The ideal candidate will also have: Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or HIPAA Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS and SQS Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates Experience with certificate management or code signing, including PKI, AzureSignTool or similar technologies Familiarity with Delphi, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript or React Experience supporting multi-site or multi-tenant SaaS deployments Previous experience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare or fintech Experience working in a fast-paced technical environment with changing priorities
