Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in New York, NY. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you'll help shape how the firm reports, analyzes, and forecasts its performance. This role sits at the intersection of finance and strategy, translating complex data into the insights that guide budgeting decisions, resource allocation, and long-range financial planning. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain financial reporting for senior management Produce in-depth financial analysis that uncover meaningful trends and inform strategic decisions Support the forecasting cycle, tracking actual results against forecast and budget Analyze and clearly explain the key drivers behind performance and variances Design and execute financial dashboards that improve the flow of information across the firm Assist in process improvement and workflow automation Support strategic reviews and financial planning initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics 2-5 years of financial analysis / FP&A experience Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting Advanced Excel user and proficient in data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred) Ability to utilize AI / technology to streamline processes and automate workflows Strong interpersonal and communication skills
