Description: Our client headquartered in Virginia is seeking a Financial Analyst based in Huntsville, AL. The position reports to the Finance Manager and offers growth opportunities in a hybrid workplace with two remote days. The Financial Analyst will play a vital role in shaping pricing strategies, developing cost proposals and overseeing financial performance while ensuring all models strictly comply with FAR, DFARS, CAS and internal corporate standards. The ideal candidate has managed competing priorities, executed under tight proposal deadlines and delivered accurate financial analyses in a fast-paced environment. Possesses proven analytical, presentation and communication skills (both written and oral). Duties/Responsibilities: Utilize Deltek ProPricer to develop, analyze and refine pricing models across the full proposal lifecycle, preparing detailed cost analyses and packages for leadership approval Oversee ongoing program financial performance by managing cost controls, budgets and variance/EAC (Estimate at Completion) variance analyses to ensure accurate forecasting Collaborate with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering and internal stakeholders to capture, validate and maintain accurate proposal cost inputs Support internal and external audits, financial reporting, program cost reviews and process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and audit readiness Requirements: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc.) Exposure to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Understanding of standard financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) a plus Proposal pricing tools and/or ERP a plus Minimal travel may be required (up to 10%) Qualifications: 4-8 Years of Financial Analysis and/or Pricing experience in Aerospace & Defense or Federal Government Contracting Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year College or University in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field Must be US Citizen and eligible to obtain US DoD Secret Clearance (active clearance a plus) Exposure to financial software implementations or data migration initiatives a plus Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 3 Weeks Vacation & Year-End Time Off Paid Holidays & Sick Leave 4 ½ Day (40 Hour) Hybrid Work Environment 401K Contribution & Matching Life & Disability Insurance Education Reimbursement
