To strengthen their internal Accounting team , they are looking for a Senior Accountant who will contribute to accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the continuous improvement of internal financial control processes. Please find more information about the role below: Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAP. Participate in the monthly and annual financial closing process. Support the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Coordinate the external audit process by preparing documentation and acting as the main point of contact for auditors. Design, implement, and maintain SOX controls to ensure effective financial reporting and compliance with corporate governance requirements. Requirements: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and financial closing. Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Experience with SOX or internal controls over financial reporting would be considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong organisational and communication skills. A collaborative approach, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
