About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Android SDE-3 to build and scale mobile experiences used by millions of learners. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Android development, deep understanding of modern mobile architectures, and the ability to drive technical excellence in a fast-paced B2C environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize features that enhance the learning experience while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications used by millions of users. Build scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions for large-scale B2C products. Drive end-to-end feature development from requirement gathering to production release. Implement clean, modular, and reusable code following engineering best practices. Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Optimize application performance, memory usage, startup time, and responsiveness. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Identify and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and reliability. Stay updated with the latest Android ecosystem trends and advocate best practices. Required Skills & Experience 5–9 years of hands-on experience in Android application development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of Android fundamentals. Experience building and scaling high-traffic B2C applications . Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and modern Android design patterns. Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, and Jetpack components . Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and shared business logic implementation. Proficiency in Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, networking, serialization, and offline data handling. Experience with local databases such as Room. Familiarity with modularization and clean architecture principles. Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Understanding of CI/CD practices and release management.
