Required Skills: • Minimum 8+ years experience in an Enterprise Network Operations support environment. • Experience with Network technologies such as: o Routing, Switching - LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, IPv4/v6, MPLS. o Network Virtualization/ automation: Cisco ACI, Arista fabric Network (including cloudvision and VXLAN encapsulations) , Cisco DNAC/Catalyst center, PRISMA, Palo Alto CloudGenix. o WiFi Technologies - Aruba/CISCO wireless Controllers, Access Points, Management Platforms. o VPN tunnel protocols - SSL/TLS, GRE, L2TP, ESP, IKEv2 IPSEC • Experience with troubleshooting complex networking problems. • Expertise in packet capture analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump/ssldump from L2 to L7 traffic flow. • Experienced in both proactive and reactive use of advanced network monitoring tools, including but not limited to: Netscout, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne, HPNA, IBM Watson. • Confident, Vocal, self-starter, organized and detail oriented. • Strong technical acumen and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management and clients. • Skilled at aligning actions with business impact and service restoration priorities • Demonstrates ownership, accountable and can hold others accountable (professionally). Desired Skills: Experience in Network design, implementation, or operations role. • Experience operating in follow-the-sun 24/7 global support model. • Experience working in greenfield, brownfield deployments, Low latency/high frequency trading environments. • Worked with Network enclave deployments be it standalone or sub divided segmentation such as secure intranet. • Experience with automation tools such as Python, Ansible and API structures. • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Agile framework SCRUM ceremonies. • Experience of working within financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking). • Experience with other network technologies. o Optical transport, DWDM, Firewall, Proxy, loadbalancing, DNS/IPAM, AAA NAC- dot1x/radius. • Possesses forward-thinking approach to risk identification and mitigation. • Understand configuration management with tools such as Forward Networks and HPNA. • Relevant and current Industry certifications in Network Technologies.
