Mendix Web Developer – Arabic Speaking (Mandatory) Location: Dubai, UAE – Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time Language: Fluent Arabic & English – Mandatory IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING Professional fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is a mandatory requirement for this position. The role requires regular communication with Arabic-speaking client stakeholders, including requirements gathering, technical discussions, demonstrations, UAT, and project updates. About the Role Omnix International is hiring an experienced Mendix Web Developer for a high-priority project in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise web applications using the Mendix low-code platform while collaborating closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, technical teams, and client stakeholders. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dubai . Qualified candidates currently based outside the UAE are welcome to apply, provided they meet the mandatory Arabic-language and technical requirements and are willing to relocate to Dubai. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise web applications using the Mendix low-code platform . Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs and working Mendix solutions. Develop and maintain microflows, nanoflows, domain models, business logic, and reusable components . Develop and customize Mendix widgets and user interfaces where required. Integrate Mendix applications with REST APIs, web services, databases, and backend systems . Work closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver sprint commitments. Participate in requirements gathering and technical discussions with Arabic-speaking client stakeholders. Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues. Support testing, UAT, deployment, production releases, and post-go-live activities. Follow Mendix development best practices for application architecture, security, performance, maintainability, and reusability. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum delivery activities. Mandatory Requirements 3+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience. Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying web applications using Mendix . Strong knowledge of Mendix Studio Pro . Hands-on experience with microflows, nanoflows, domain modeling, business logic, and application security . Experience with REST APIs, web services, and backend system integrations . Good understanding of web application architecture and database integration. Experience with responsive web application development and UI customization. Professional fluency in Arabic – spoken and written. Professional proficiency in English – spoken and written. Ability to conduct requirements discussions, technical conversations, demonstrations, and project updates professionally in Arabic. Willing and able to work full-time onsite in Dubai, UAE . Preferred Qualifications Mendix certification (Rapid, Intermediate, or Advanced Developer). JavaScript experience, particularly for custom widgets and UI extensions. Java exposure for Mendix extensions or integrations. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, React, or related front-end technologies. Experience with enterprise application integration. Experience with CI/CD and application deployment. Previous government or public-sector project experience. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Immediate or short-notice availability. Note: This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dubai, UAE . Arabic proficiency is a mandatory business requirement for this position due to direct and regular interaction with Arabic-speaking client stakeholders.
