We’re currently partnering with a leading organisation undergoing significant digital transformation and looking for a Assistant Director of Product Design to shape the evolution of complex digital products and services. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who combines strategic design thinking, strong people leadership and the ability to drive organisational change . You’ll work across multiple product and service areas, helping teams solve complex problems, build better experiences and develop stronger design capabilities. What you’ll be doing: • Define and drive design strategy across a diverse portfolio of digital products and services • Lead discovery and problem-framing initiatives, uncovering user needs, systemic challenges and opportunities for improvement • Shape end-to-end experiences across products, services, processes and multiple stakeholder groups • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and senior business stakeholders to translate user needs into scalable, practical solutions • Lead, mentor and grow multidisciplinary design teams, building a strong culture of craft, collaboration and continuous improvement • Establish and evolve design frameworks, methodologies and ways of working across the organisation • Champion design as a strategic capability and influence how teams approach product development and service delivery • Define meaningful measures of success and demonstrate the impact of design on business and customer outcomes What we’re looking for: • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering digital products and/or services end-to-end • 5+ years of experience leading and developing design teams • Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, particularly within enterprise, B2B or platform businesses • Strong breadth across product design, service design, research, problem framing, prototyping and storytelling • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple products, programmes or workstreams simultaneously • Strong understanding of how design intersects with technology, data and digital product development • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams in technically complex environments • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels • A track record of building design capability, developing talent and embedding design-led ways of working You’ll have an advantage if you have: • Experience across both start-up and large-scale enterprise environments • Experience working across in-house product teams and/or consulting environments • Experience launching products or platforms at significant scale • Experience building or scaling design functions, communities of practice or capability-building programmes • A portfolio demonstrating measurable real-world impact from your work • Experience working on products or services with a strong social-impact or mission-driven component This could be a great fit if you: • Enjoy solving highly complex and ambiguous problems • Want to influence more than individual products and have an impact at an organisational level • Can move comfortably between strategic leadership, coaching and hands-on design direction • Thrive when working closely with cross-functional teams to understand problems deeply and create tangible outcomes • Are motivated by building products and services that create meaningful, long-term impact If you’re an experienced Design Leader looking for a role where you can influence products, people and design strategy at scale , feel free to apply for a confidential conversation. *Do note that this role is based in Singapore and unfortunately does not support relocation at this stage.
