What you'll be doing... Perform multiple entities' monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IFRSs. Support monthly closing activities by preparing, verifying, and entering accurate journal entries. Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis. Prepare monthly combined and consolidated financial statements. Variance analysis between local GAAP and IFRSs. Prepare support per audit PBC requests, actively interface with external auditors, and drive the completion of audit reports prior to deadlines. Assist with sales tax, withholding tax declarations, and ensure full compliance with regional regulatory requirements. Budget preparation, analysis, and reporting. Maintain clear desk procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Assist with special projects; such as system and procedures improvements, cross-entity alignment, and integration of acquisitions to ensure proper risk mitigation considerations and procedures are implemented. What we're looking for... Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Thorough understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience; Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with regional e-invoicing platforms (e.g., Malaysia LHDN e-Invoice) is preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate proactively in a multi-cultural environment. High level of ownership, adaptability, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving in dynamic workflows. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines independently. Excellent interpersonal skills; communication and presentation Strong verbal and written communications skills in English are required.
