Job Type Full-time Description OUR STORY AT CLOUDBEES CloudBees provides the foundation for enterprises to ship secure, compliant, and high-scale software, creating an environment where engineering teams can truly excel. We act as a strategic ally in cloud transformation, integrating into diverse hybrid ecosystems to optimize security and operational flow. By offering fast, self-service paths and flexible workflows, we ensure developers have the freedom to deploy code anywhere while maintaining enterprise-grade standards across the entire lifecycle. Whether our customers are leveraging Jenkins on-premise or moving toward cloud-native delivery, CloudBees is there to guide their DevSecOps journey and help them build what comes next. WHAT YOU’LL DO! Work with your team to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable and reliable server-side applications and services. Develop and own microservices using Golang, ensuring they are performant, observable, and built for long-term maintainability. Ensure high test coverage for all code, including unit and integration tests. Actively participate in the prioritization of the task for the team. Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of shared ownership, psychological safety. Think like a product engineer: Be the voice of the customer in every technical discussion. Understand how they use the platform, what slows them down, and what would unlock the most value. Collaborate with product managers and engineers across the org to understand how platform decisions ripple outward. Write documentation, runbooks, and internal guides that make the platform understandable and self-serviceable for the teams that depend on it. Requirements WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE? 5+ years of experience. Strong experience in Golang programming language and its ecosystem, with a solid understanding of core language concepts and standard library. Strong knowledge and understanding of server-side development concepts, patterns, and best practices. Good experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker and database systems such as PostgreSQL or Cassandra. Track record of learning new technologies and tackling challenging problems. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
