Job Summary We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect the organization’s systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats. The successful candidate will monitor security activity, investigate potential incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and support the implementation of security controls and best practices. Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts, networks, systems, and applications for suspicious or unauthorized activity. Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, threats, and security alerts. Perform vulnerability assessments and help track remediation of identified security weaknesses. Analyze security logs and data from SIEM, endpoint, firewall, and other security tools. Support access management, endpoint security, data protection, and other cybersecurity controls. Document security incidents, investigations, findings, and recommended corrective actions. Assist with security audits, risk assessments, compliance activities, and security awareness initiatives. Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT security, or a related technical role. Understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking, operating systems, and common security threats. Experience with security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, or security analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills Security+ (or equivalent) certification; CySA+, CEH, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are a plus. Experience using SIEM platforms, EDR tools, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Familiarity with cloud security environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
