This role will focus on BAU support, report enhancements, data analysis, and incident resolution while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. Your new role As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing reporting and data solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making. You will work across data warehousing, reporting, incident management, and ongoing platform support activities. Key responsibilities : Developing, optimising, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions Supporting and enhancing Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models Investigating and resolving data-related incidents and service requests Performing data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement Supporting data models, warehouse structures, and semantic layers Contributing to release management and deployment activities using Azure DevOps and Git Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions Maintaining documentation and ensuring best practices across data and reporting environments What you'll need to succeed Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and stored procedures Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving Experience with data modelling and data warehousing concepts, including dimensional and medallion architectures Strong Power BI experience, including report development, enhancements, and troubleshooting Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD processes Knowledge of incident and service request management within ServiceNow environments Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team environment What you'll get in return Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential Opportunity to work in a complex and data-rich environment Diverse mix of BAU support, reporting, and analytics work Collaborative and supportive team culture Competitive daily rates What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Lovlin.Rashmi@Hays.com.au, or call us now.
