Job Title: Founding Sales Lead About the Company: Our client pushes brand creative across a creator network, analyzes performance data, and identifies winning content to be used as ads before paid spend is allocated. They aim to eliminate the guesswork in ad creative selection for DTC brands. Job Description: This role is responsible for building and scaling the top of the sales funnel. Currently, growth relies on relationships and founder-led selling, which is not scalable. The successful candidate will own the pipeline development process, transforming a smaller base of clients into a larger one by establishing a scalable sales process. This is a foundational role where the individual will be responsible for creating the sales playbook, messaging, and channel strategy. The market is large and the category is emerging, with a product that is proven to work and can be demonstrated with data. The role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the company's early growth and sales infrastructure. Responsibilities of the role: • Execute multi-channel outbound sales activities (email, LinkedIn, phone) targeting DTC and ecommerce brands. • Minimize inbound lead response time to ensure the company is the fastest to engage with potential buyers. • Leverage existing networks (investors, partners, past clients) to generate warm leads and secure meetings. • Conduct thorough research on target brands' existing creative strategies to personalize outreach. • Ensure clean and detailed notes are passed to the next stage of the sales process for effective follow-up. • Maintain CRM data integrity, ensuring all activities are accurately recorded. • Provide market feedback on objections, effective messaging, and list performance to inform strategy. Required Experience and Qualifications: • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or account executive role. • Experience selling to marketing, ecommerce, or agency buyers is preferred. • Demonstrated passion for sales. • Ability to manage and maintain over 100 live accounts simultaneously. • Capacity to receive feedback and adapt behavior quickly. • Interest in consumer brands and short-form video content. Preferred Skills: • Prior experience selling agency or marketing services. • Experience building sales lists and running outreach sequences independently. • Existing network within the DTC, ecommerce, or performance marketing sectors. Personality: • Proactive and self-starting attitude. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Adaptable and eager to learn. • Results-oriented and driven.
