Budget Analyst.

Duties Perform budgetary and administrative functions required in the formulation, execution, and review of assigned portions of the appropriated fund budget of the National Ground Intelligence Center. Analyze budget estimates and supporting data provided by Directorates and provide recommendations to assure compliance with regulatory and legal limitations and restrictions within the resource programs. Develop budget estimates for mission support, maintenance, personnel travel, and civilian pay by researching, compiling, and summarizing data required during the formulation of the annual budget. Determine availability of funds and distribute funds to ensure maximum utilization throughout the fiscal year. OR You must have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. OR You must have a combination of the specialized experience, but less than one year; and have at least one year of graduate education, but less than the required two years. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-09). OR You must have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. OR You must have a combination of the specialized experience, but less than one year; and have at least two years of graduate education, but less than the required three years.
