Cloud (AWS) FinOps Specialist

FinOps / Process Specialist At Trustsoft, we are looking for a FinOps / Process Specialist who will help us manage cloud costs more effectively, improve our internal processes, and connect technical teams with the business. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who understands cloud environments, but also enjoys communication, structure, working with data, and finding practical improvements. You will not be “just reporting numbers” — you will help shape the way we work with cloud costs, customer processes, internal workflows, and efficiency across teams. You will work closely with our Cloud Architects, DevOps and Operations teams, Sales, Project Managers, and customers. What You Will Be Working On You will contribute to the development of our FinOps practice and processes around cloud services, mainly in AWS environments, with occasional overlap into Azure or GCP. Specifically, You Will analyze cloud costs, service consumption, and trends in customer environments, prepare overviews, reports, and recommendations for cloud cost optimization, communicate with technical teams and customers about cloud usage, costs, and improvement opportunities, help set up and improve internal processes across delivery, operations, and customer support, identify areas where we can work more efficiently — from a process, data, and communication perspective, contribute to the standardization of reporting, documentation, and internal workflows, support teams in bringing FinOps principles into their day-to-day work, help prepare materials for customer meetings, business reviews, and internal decision-making, connect technical details with a business perspective, so that outputs make sense to both technical teams and management. What We Need From You We are looking for someone who combines a technical foundation, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. You Should Have previous experience in a technical, cloud, operations, analytical, or process-focused environment, basic to intermediate knowledge of at least one cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP, the ability to understand technical context and how cloud services work from the perspective of cost, usage, and operations, experience with reporting, data analysis, Excel / Google Sheets, or similar tools, the ability to structure information independently, follow things through, and suggest improvements, very good communication skills, very good Czech and English — both are must-haves for us, the motivation to work with different teams and translate technical topics into clear, understandable language. What Will Be Useful To Have It will be an advantage if you have experience with any of the following areas: FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud billing, AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, CUR, Azure Cost Management, or similar tools, Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or another reporting tool, Jira, Confluence, Service Management, or process workflows, IT consulting, managed services, or cloud operations, basic understanding of invoicing, cost allocation, tagging, or chargeback/showback models, customer-facing communication.
